fountain

Hello. I'm running a 3302 with crestline dampener system. I mixed new fountain the other day and the press ran great for about an hour. Today when I fired it up the fountain was very foamy in the tray in the first unit. Any ideas?

running a ryobi 524H and since instillation have been having problems with unit 3 driver. the motor is slow to react at start up (error code 23) but when it does start it continues for rest of day. same problem occurs each day ? would appreciate any advice on this problem.

What kind of mixtures are you folks using to mix your fountain solution? We are having major problems controlling our ink to water balance. We are now mixing it 4oz of etch 2 oz sub to 1 gallon of water.

Anyone use either of these products,what problems have you had and what solutions have you came up with?

Can anyone recomend a good fountain solution to use SM-74 with Alcolor. I would like to keep my alcohol @ 10% if possible. We r currently using Saphira FS13 but find we get some picture framming. Thaks Gazman:)

what temps are you running your soultions at ? what temps are your chilled oscilators at ? are you alcohol free?

we have a 3302 H, it has leaked water around the damping system since day one and nobody has ever been able to tell me where the water is coming from. the side squeegees are replaced all the time and still drips and washes out the image for 25 or so copies,then prints good then drips again...

Fountain Solution is a mixture of water and chemicals filling the printing press' water fountain that dampens the printing plate to prevent ink from adhering to the nonimage area. Fountain Solution is also called dampener solution.

A trough which holds either ink or water on a printing press.

Split Fountain refers to placing more than one ink in a printing ink fountain to get special color affects.
