end of duct rollers getting badly pitted through some sort of acidic reaction. thought it was calcium build-up until I had closer look. only 4% alcohol used in fount. also same inks as other machine but not happening there. would a calcium build-up actually do that to the duct roller? tried...

ta very much but have already tried this. def weird. could be board or most likely crappy inks. i dont buy the materials in but if its cheap your expected to get the same results in the end!!:mad:

have to print yellow in first unit due to ink getting filthy. any dark solids, process etc, previous to 4th unit. water, room, board temp and types of ink change do not seem to have an effect on what is happening. any help? (ls40) :confused:

printing here in ireland. wages are not too bad. about $us28hr.
