On our Di we are missing some of the coupling rod nylon stop pads. How important is it to replace them?

Our QMDI stops right after the intial plate clean and just when it is about to do a blanket wash. There are no error codes. It does this on all units even when testing one at a time. We need to reboot the press and hand wash the blankets to complete the cycle.
