umm.. no way I would let the tech leave without an answer if Genie threw sparks at me in the morning

have a look at the black plastic strip on the holders.. somtimes they spit causing headaches !!!

the xerox can do your work with no trouble ,but unless you are doing variable data or have on-line finisher on the xerox.. I would stick to the press...and NOT PAY FOR CLICKS

try running some non-critical jobs first to warm up the machine 100 or so impressions ...I do not run color check everyday.. seems a waste of time and paper if the colors are still correct!!!!!

A full re-start should clear it.. it is a comunication ... if the re-start doesnt fix it you need to check for loose or broken comunication wires

just a thought.. they found a fan was not working on our Igen.. we have been cooking our fuser roller and killing it premature.. 250k-300k impresions

..How many impresions are you folks getting out of your water unit rollers??? seems my water form rollers on both units are tarnished after 6 months and only a small amount of impresions!!.. my tech says Botcher has been haveing quality issues for a while ..he just put in a new pan roller in...

...LOL our Igen does the same and there seems to be no reason for the stacker to go skewed!!!!

Have you removed the wire mod and vacuumed the roller.. also clean the sensor on top....very carefully ..do not go near it with the vacuum! also clean the MOB senser and and run the dc951 xerographic set up and do a color check...

run my little qm-46 at full speed for 90% of the jobs I do....I run mostly envelopes these days ..and even those are starting to go on the digital press.....

...xerox is changing us back to Fuser fluid 1...hopefully my wafer seals and foil jobs start start sticking to the sheets again:P:P

position autoplate tray to the unit you want to eject the plate from, turn the press by hand slowly untill the eject button lights up..press the auto plate button and you should now be be un-jammed and back to normal

no luck with the restart... I pushed the red switch a couple times (assume this is the pressure switch) and we are back up and running!!!!

:P it is new and empty...can not get the error to go away.. tried banging the hose to knock any developer down but still will not reset..doing a restart now..hope it clears!!!

what fuser oil are you using? ...Sounds like maybe the roller is drying out and is starved for oil
