    The bearings are known to fail on the metering roller on PU2? release the pressure and see if there is any play.

    As they don't move once they have appeared I still believe it's blanket related & if I'm completely honest I think at the time I was also guilty of using very harsh solvents in the blanket wash up device. I only use Pronto Plus now.

    I had what looks like the identical problem, I have a QM & a PM 46. It was the blanket in my case, I didn´t know till I put another blanket from the same source on my other machine and it started doing the same thing.

    I have a QM46 & a PM46, if your quality expectations are quite high I have seen much better results achieved on a Ryobi 3302. I can easily colour change a QM46 in half an hour for an acceptable full colour letterhead in half an hour, but I would not attempt a full colour A4 leaflet on Gloss art.

    Open top plate guard, open front door, turn handle till plate eject light flashes & then push plate eject button. Machine should be reset now.

    I'd pay a bit more for a PM46, I've got both a PM46 & a QM46. I run 2 machines at the same time and the PM feed to me is definitely better.

    Try a little tack reducer, my QM does this sometimes.

    Scales For 20 years I've used a set of cheap digital scales accurate to .01 of a gram available on ebay. For small mixes I still use them instead of my Pantone scales.
