Heidelberg only sells the entire air piston as there is no way to determine if there is damage to the inside cylinder walls. It does no good to replace internal parts when air can still leak past them. I personally have seen the inside of these cylinders scarred from trash going through them...

Are you sure it is the 5/2 way valve or is it the air piston that failed? When the air piston has a leak the air back flows through the valve causing it not to close completely. The valve will sound like it is leaking because of this, even though it is not bad.

Also, be aware that if you stop the side to side oscillation you will burn up the bearings for the oscillator rollers. They have to move side to side...

Do you notice after the press stops feeding sheets that the air compressor is running? It is possible you have an air leak on one of the short stroke cylinders.

This is going to sound basic... Use as little powder as possible, also use the 23 micron powder.

It can also be that a safety is intermittently tripping. The one that does it the most is the delivery overshoot switch. The grippers bars hit it during imaging when the chains are worn. It barely trips the sensor just enough to shut the lasers down, but not long enough to trigger an error code...

The long stroke piston only has one air line going to it. Replace the cylinder you hear the leak coming from. Also be sure to measure the shaft on this one. It is important to get the measurement correctly.

It is also possible the casting that the overrunning clutch bearing fits in has a hairline crack in it causing the bearing to slip.

You will get a 12-06 error code, "Paper Jam At the Delivery", when the gripper bar hits the switch. The switch that sends the signal is S25.

It looks as if you may have found it, but the delivery gripper bar will hit the sheet over shoot sensor if the delivery chains are loose. This typically happens at speeds over 6000. Makes it impossible to image plates.

Just a word of advice. Do not turn the pump on with the new vanes in it and the cover off just to see how it works. Unless of course you are wearing body armor...

The CP2000 is a touch screen, all of the functions on the CPC 1.04 are in it plus a host of other options. Visually it is much easier to see the state of the press. Also diagnostics are easier to access. The first CP2000's came out 17 years ago.

I would check with our parts department for the foils if you are looking for factory replacements. The tool to replace the metal foil is only used on the Plus and Pro machines. The Classic did not use one.
