Try cleaning (dusting off) your feed board sensors(the electronic double sheet detector as well as the sensor under the transfer cylinder, you have to reach under to get to that one.) If all else fails you can turn off those sensors(not reccomended)

I only run a small 4-color press but you'll never be able to match 021 using cmyk. The design firm should know that if they deal with print. Making it a 5 color job is, I believe the only way. Unfortunately a lot of design firms don't consider press, web and other media when choosing colors.

Have your designers set up large solid blacks as what we call "rich black".. cmyk mix of 40-40-40-100.

The girl that runs one of our 02's actually uses two sheet seperators per holder (doubles them up) which she claims makes all the difference.
