Hey. Anobody else having a large amount of faults on the pin scorotrons? We are having them on all our machines, it doesnt help much to reset or clean, we just replace.

Maybe a bit more, we use about 10-12 fusers a week, i think the delivery was 20. 4 iGens printing on different sizes from 80g uncoated to 350g coated really wears them out quickly.

You do have the stripper fingers mounted?

a weeks supply of fuser rolls! BTW, after working with iGen's in our printshop for 6 years and finishing a apprenticeship, I got promoted to leader of the digitalprint department(we are the biggest in scandinavia) We now have 3 x iGen4, 1 x iGen3, 1 xerox CP800 and 1 xerox CP1000.

hmm I have heard no such thing, I have an iGen3 in our printshop.

We have 3 igen's running the freeflow RIP and 1 running creo, i made a rookie mistake making a hotfolder on each machine with the same name, took me a while before i found out it was causing the fatal network error ^^

we just print about 50 sra3 developerrecovery pages to clean up any rest on the pr :)

Hey Peels. Im back working with igen3/4 again. Are you running a silk-coated stock? We have alot of issues with this, its not fuser oil, but some amonia or something in the stock transfering to the PR BELT, we use car wax to clean the belt instead of changing it.

I have runned Igen3 for 5 years, decent quality, not alot of maintenance but alot of downtime. Now i run HP indigo, very good quality, more maintenence but not near the downtime of Xerox, our HP indigo ran nearly 4 months without having a technician from HP looking at it, my experience is with...

quit my Igen3 job, now im working with roll-fed HP indigo, been running for a week without any problems, dont think a igen3 could manage that ^^
