We just took down our first iGen3 after 10½ year performance. When we took it down it was still working delivering about 30-40.000 A3 prints a day. Over the time we had it, it made over 120.000.000 prints.

You could run in enhanced image performance(slow print speed) then it shouldnt do that, until your tech shows up..

Anybody else having major issues with the toptray sensors? we got 7 stackers for iGens in our shop and all of them seems to keep seeing a sheet in the tray even though its removed, so we have to stick a finger down in the sensor for a second or two, then it will realise the sheet is gone.

i have both the 800 and 1000 in my shop, not the i models though.

Well can only say i have experience with Ricoh, Canon, Hp indigo, konica minolta, would always go for the iGen.

Do you make sure to reset fuser web when you change it so it cleans at the right speed? this can be very important..!

Our old iGen3 turned 10 years a few days ago. 120.000.000 million a4 prints have passed through the printer, anybody else near that volume? A nice little cake was baked for the celebration.

4 iGen's running 16 hours a day produces alot of waste developer, some days 8 of those.. We dont empty

Hello. In our workshop we have 2x XC1000 and 3x iGen4s and 1x iGen3. Comparing the 2 machines i would say a iGen4 printer is a bit more reliable when it comes to color and uptime. The 1000 is having alot of duplex registration issues we never see on a iGen printer. The feeders are working much...

This is normal for us.. we mostly run on offset stock.

Schweem: On the CP1000 you are able to get new toner motors, we changed a lot of the old until they made new ones, ask your tech.

This happens on all my iGens aswell, some worse than others. I often have to open and close the center door just to get rid of this. On my iGen3 i have a nasty one telling me to "check for paper in print area 2" when it comes the sensors have to be cleaned

Well you might copy so that your PDF has 10 pages, the first is your "page 1" and the last 5 is your "page 2" then tell freeflow to print 1-5 on a stock and 6-10 on another stock...?

Funny reading this old post again.. The printers Smooth operator was talking about is now a part of the shop im the managing :) still got my multiart silk problem though.

Having the exact same problem, get used to it. Theres alot of issues like that on those printers. Im running a CP1000 and CP800

seens this on a couple of iGens, make sure the center lower door is fully closed, maybe try to cheat it..

Hehe how cute, a iGen with only one stacker ^^ Jokes aside, nice to see Peels. That docutech looks wierd though. By the way in my video there is 3x iGen4, 1xiGen3, 1x CP800 and 1 CP1000.
