Hi Chock, do LEDs h2 h3 h4 indicate anything specific? On working boards I can see they are off once the board initializes while only ref h1 is blinking, is there any specific description to these LEDs? Like for instance a fault condition?

Hi Mathew, Replacing the 8255 makes no difference cannot access the memory and the machine starts with a -- --, I will have to look at the WSP now. The situation is same as before, same behavior and errors.

"System no longer has stability" could have entirely different reason of failure. The SEK error signifies an input at the SEK is not plausible, can you go into the diagnosis tab go into inputs and outputs and open SEK and take a picture of the screen and share it with me.

Hi Mathew, I am using a TOP3000 programmer to read the PALCE22V10 chips, the PAL chip on the left shows all zeros where as the other PALs show large blocks of 1s and zeros I will show you a picture once I am back home and have it setup.

As the error says you have a defective SBM, the SBMs can be taken out and the thyristors on it can be checked and replaced

There should be 5 fuses in total measure them with a meter to be sure they are ok, do not rely on visual inspection alone, the M error is for the brake as ashok mentioned and can be resolved by tightening the brake, even without tightening the brake the machine should be able to inch.
