Hi, problem with press being locked out. Symbol for moitoring the allocation of reversing drum to storage drum. Press is an old l996 model and perfector on 3rd unit. Any clues anybody ?

Check the toothed belt on the synchronization pulley under the OS cover of PU3…could belt or switch issue. Prior to conversion to perfect, was storage drum in “0” position? May want to go back to straight print and check this first.

Hello can I see your withdrawal systems! Mechanically, is the machine online or in withdrawal? On the screen is the machine online or in withdrawal (electronic)

Ok so we wanted to take the unit 3 blanket washer out to clean it but there is a locking arm for the perfector in the way. I went to the console and started the process to go into perfect and the locking arm came down so we took the blanket washer out and then I just canceled the process at the console without doing anything mechanically. The next morning another operator tried to put the press into perfect he went through the processes but now the press is locked up and can’t move. The console says it’s in straight print, the pin in the side of unit 3 is all the way in indicating it’s in straight print, but the perfector gear is stuck in perfect at 635mm. I also found a broken sensor and i will be replacing it tomorrow.

Two brass pins on front of board, short out with screwdriver or similar item for a few seconds.

Codes translate to communications errors, so the first thing you should do is turn power off and reestablish pin connections of all boards in main cabinet by unplugging and plugging back in.
