I have 2 ink drive bum618 The drive moves in wrong direction I check all electronic components but I didn.t find any thing any one can help me or face the same problem.?
Dear Ahmed, 1. The BUM816 controller is not for brushed DC motors, where a Field/Armature polarity may be changed in order to reverse a rotaion direction. 2. The BUM816 controller is for driving 3-phase asyncronoius servo motors. A motor rotation direction is formed by a proper pole(s) ativation with 3-phase output stage of the drive, according an actual position and a direction of the rotor. The actual momentary position and direction feedback signals are fed to the controller from a resolver/encoder of the servo motor. A rotation directin can be changed by phase swapping of motor/resolver. 3. Do not change your motor direction, until you would find an actual reason of your motor abnormal rotation. The incorrect direcion may be coused by improper command signals, position limit sensors(if any), rotor direction feedbacks, or by previos improper serevice activities. Find the actual reason, instead of the problem burying. Regards, Oleg T.
