    Hey, guys!

I have an issue with my Epson 9900

It used to print the nozzle check perfectly, only sometimes green was missing a few lines, and pair clean always helped. However, a couple of days ago, something weird happened, and after the pair cleaned (G/Og), all the colors disappeared except cyan. I did a few cleaning cycles, and then power cleaned. Nothing helped, so I did service clean manually (followed these instructions:

It didn’t help, and even cyan has disappeared. So, now the nozzle check appears almost blank on the paper, sometimes just a tiny bit of grey. And sometimes almost a full square of green. I’ve noticed a lot of air among the ink in the transparent pipes. Not sure if that’s normal.
Here are a couple of photos:

Did anyone had a similar issue in the past?

    Please share your thoughts.

    Best regards,
    Greg

    I tried a few things:
    1. Manually pulled the inc from the dampers. There was so much air in the pipes that inc was coming out foamy. The printer was off and while I was pulling the ink with syringe I could hear the air sucked in on the other side of the line. (Not sure if that's normal, but the printer was off, so there was no pressurizing). I got quite a bit of ink waste, but I got solid inc in the syringe, however, I wasn't able to get rid of all the air in the lines cause it was sucking in on the other end. After running a cleaning cycle I got 7 of 10 colors back during the nozzle check. However, after I run a couple more cleaning cycles, I lost 5 colors, so now I have only 2, and I can still see the air in the lines.

    2. I changed the cartridges as I thought the old ones could be faulty, but it didn't fix the issue.

My concern is that there is some air leak at the very beginning, or maybe the pump that pressurizing the cartridges and pulls the ink is faulty, as there's air in every single line from both sides (left and right).

Does anybody have any other suggestions to try?

Good afternoon, the DX6 head installed there is a very problematic and unsuccessful model, I recommend the Epson 7880/9880 model, they have a DX5 head, the Japanese one is very reliable, the same eight-channel
