Duplo 3500 solenoid not moving wheel

Hello, this DuPlo 3500 solenoid is not responding when running items through the machine. Purpose is to raise and lower wheel guide. See pictures. Any thoughts as to why this is malfunctioning?

1) The solenoid, can have 2 problem; a) mechanical problem b) electrical problem

a) Mechanical problem;
mechanical overload+load too heavy. ( solenoid defective by use)

b) electrical problem;

low voltage , overvoltage, coil reheating, dirty Magnet, loose cables.

 

Thank you kind sir. We discovered the entire wire line from front to back was burned up. Not sure how no one could smell it. Thank you for your input, much appreciated.
