Has anyone had success printing synthetic non tear paper through the Iridesse? We've done some test sheets and we can match the colour when printing duplex, the reverse side comes out completely different? We also get patches of colour inconsistency, as if the toner is not completely adhering to the paper.

The engineer team have been in but have had no success either.

Do we print one side only and then run it again to print the reverse? Worried about alignment if we do that? Any suggestions?

Yes, you have the best answer in your question...run one side at a time. You may have to do an image shift to get it to line up on the 2nd pass, but it should hold it once you get it in place. We don't have the irridese, but have had to do this on our older Konica's. Our newer Konica's can handle it one pass now. The best synthetic stock we've found for toner printers is Synaps XM by Nekoosa.

Have you tried copying the NeverTear stock from RML with a similar micron?

That's what I've done, and I think it works fine.
    we have Xerox X-Pet 120mic - 350mic
