2003 Sm74 questions 6/c P

Receiving an ink barrel (fountain roller) error. Have to reboot press to clear. Happens even when the unit isn’t activated on council.

Need to replace one of the crawl buttons. Will any soldering be needed?

Monitor has some dead spots, they sell an aftermarket fix that looks like it’s the touch pad. Has anyone changed there’s and if so is it fairly straight forward?

I found this filter in the parts cabinet 00.581.00246/02 it looks like a type of filter for a liquid. Can someone tell me what it’s for?

 

I recommend to reheating the backpanel, for dry +colder solder joint, this happen to due the use of machine, and temperature of machine, and others.

Crawl buttons, possible need, or tight very well, and see if they are o.k in continuity.

Replace the monitor by the original , generic will be NOT good, only if you will have some guarantee with this special touch pad.

00.581.0246/02 Filter, thats filter for main Oil tank which is under the galery on drive side (DS).

Any idea on replacing the crawl button on one of the units? Seems I remember these buttons as all being the same and they had to be soldered to the board.

You have to solder the switch

That would be great, I can’t find them online. I thought we had a bag that they left but it’s like anything else, can’t find them when you need them. Let me know what you need for a couple and I’ll send it your way.

The shipping cost will be too much from Denmark to USA. Find a better solution. You may find a used complete panel from China.

 

Do you need a complete touch panel or just the buttons? In case you need the complete touch panel for the unit, send me a picture with the part number inscribed at the bottom faceplate. If you need just the buttons, I can send you also. Let me know.

Thanks Matt, didn’t notice you were in Denmark. Is there a Heidelberg number for just the replacement button?

 

Pretty sure just the button, it’s just getting slow to respond. Also need a plate clamp bladder if you have one.
