Hello! I work in a small company that deals with offset printing. The plates are made on a CTP machine and then developed. We often work with different plates and adjustments are needed for the development time, but we understand about this only when they are the printing machine. Are there control fields to be added to the plates and to understand the problem with the manifestation at this stage?

The best way is to group the plates of the same type and develop them all at once and so

we develop plates of different formats after CTP. we have no problem with over- or under-developed. a specially trained person checks the curves and makes adjustments to the files. after developing, the plates are selectively denisitometered.

There 2 way to check plates for under/over expose or under/over develop.
    1) measurements
    2) visual inspection of plate control strip.
For both process you need certain plate strip to place in non printable area(mostly) griper/puch side..
These strip(pdf file) you can get from your plate vendor and they will guide you.
    Or
Pls confirm which plate you are using along with ctp and processor.
    I will send to you.
Note :- process is also mention in my previous posts

If you are using conventional plates then You can work with plates that develop in the printing machine, these are called non-developing plates
