    We have polar cutting machine emc 115 v1 . After every time of turning, the back gauge position is exactly with the 7-segment indicator in panel.
    But every time we enter a new amount by keyboard, the two 7-segment indicators show two different amounts with an approximate difference of 6 cm. The position of the back gauge differs by the same 6 cm.
    Thank you in advance for your help

    Hi sir;

    1) Test the connection between the lenght measuring system vs CU unit, for loose, dirty, broken wires, or oil,etc

    2)i f everything is o.k replace TAM board, the LED v3 in TAM, must be flashed with the backgauge in passing in the middle.

    3) Exchange the Lengh Measuring System. or AR

    4) Finally
    Edge connectors are a common souorce of problems. Power down the system and remove the PC
    boards. Examine the edge connector
    for contamination and clean with contacts cleaner contacts. Reseat any loose components such as
    scoketed ICs) . Reseat the
    boards and power up.

    Hello dear sir. I carefully reviewed all the recommendations you said, but the device problem still persists. Also, my cutting machine does not have a TAM board. My cutting machine is Polar 115 emc version 1 1980.
    Thank you very much

    With that 6 cm error, most likely it's the scanning head.
