    Centering problem

    Andi,
    i think that problem is in prepress. don't check option "print job info" (or something like this) when making post-script or PDF for print.

    Hi,

    Remember we had this same issue last time i was with you.....the RIP will only reproduce the information on the job given to it from prepress. So if the job info line is on the disc with the job then the RIP will set the job off- center as it sees this included in the overall job size.

    Regards.

    to be more clear

    to be more clear i explain all the procedure that i do after the pree press guy gives me the cd with the job inside ;

    1-open the CD,copy the file (job), and send to input D.
    2-select in input D, pdf test folder abd paste the job here.
    3-then open Delta Print Manager and after selecting Input di 80-er,copy this job there.
    4-when i check at the computer of the di machine i see the job at makeready meny(second meny from the left) this in the screen at the at the left of the job(always at the left) apears this line and the job is not centered. t
    regards enri

    Another thing you could do using for instance Acrobat 8 profesional go into tools, advanced edit and use the crop tool to take away any info you do not require like the info line.

    I also have a disc with a DI job on that i can send to you as a trial (it can go straight in the RIP) that i know does not have any info line on, so you can see if the RIP is generating the line. Speak to Marsel.

    Regards.

    Endi, you have possibility to move image position on plate but this must be defined before imaging. Go to special function (S), then click on Correct register button (5th icon). Changing values in first row you can tell QM that move position of imaging on plate left or right. Please note that you must change values for all 4 units equaly (c,m,y,k) or you will be out of lateral register. Unwanted info line will still be imaged but you can reach real center. After this job don't forget to restore old values or you will have next good jobs out of center. Hope this helps.
