    Hi all,

We run a Shinohara 52 4 with CIP3, recently installed, 3 yrs old. I need to adjust the ink duct slides so they shut down properly, they need recalibrating. previous owners must have been messing with settings as on a couple of units there is way too much colour coming out of ducts for much of the work, having to compensate by turning down the duct roller sweep. Anybody have ideas of how to adjust keys to recalibrate, is it a case of trying to fool the console?

Fool the consul ??? not at all

Setting up the ink ducts and setting a right "0" for all ink keys is a standard job - you simply need to know how.

If your ducts are in reasonable condition it should be a one hour job.

Contact me by e-mail / phone - i can help

    Good luck

    Hi Meny

thanks for your offer, no sooner I posted the thread and we found information on how to do adjustments, the press we have came from France and the manuals with it were in a right mess, we found some odd damaged pages and among them was a couple from the maintenance section explaining the procedure for zero adjustment/calibration, given it a go and we seem to be getting somewhere, made a major difference already, many thanks once again

    Hi Rund

    Good & good luck :)

What i fail to understand is why buy a press from a closed com[pany with no future as for parts & service , but if you got it cheap...nothing to add :)
    Good luck

    Hello Rundeep,

I have a shinohara 52-2. My ink ducts calibration board setting is stuck to PS. Do you have the password to reset the board?
    Thanks

Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience. I have a problem on Shinohara 52-II suddenly I found an error message and I was left with the numbering group icon. I state that I have entered the monitor screen but it does not allow me to deactivate the function. In addition, the machine gives an alarm beep from the moment it is turned on. Everything starts but the sheets stop in front of the front registers. Can anyone help me? Has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks!
