1) but only touch in place of full monitor.
2) get mouse enable in the system and use ps2(round connector) mouse.

Since your touch is faulty. So calibration will not work.

The panel has to be taken apart, the white square frame at the front needs to come out, with older presses dust settles between the gap of the frame and touch screen causing the screen to be pressed at certain points. It is worth a try before replacing the screen in m my opinion.
