    Hi there,

For connecting to the Inkductfile location on the local network I need acces to the Windows XP environment on the PCS-H console. When booting up the press it instandly runs the Ryobi GUI and I don't know how to access the Windows environment. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hi TheDifference,

you can connect PS2 keyboard and mouse to the press console PC. It is easier then to interupt the startup sequence. Hopefully there is no Japanese WindowsXP running behind the Ryobi GUI.

Mostly the PCS-H computer is running in Windows WORKGROUP. If your company network has a different workgroup name or it is a domain network, you can not see it. Rename the workgroup name of the PCS-H computer to make it visible.

There is also a small script running when starting up your press, where in the network PCS-H should watch for new dem-files. Check this script too.

Perfect thankyou, we have managed to find the PCS-H on the network, but we don't know the username and pass word, we've tried the usual admin, password etc. However we can't access it...

The default setting from Ryobi was NO password and automatically starting Windows OS . Somebody must have changed it.

Yes the pcs desk starts up so we have full control over the press, but we just can't connect into it to try and place cip files,,, we suspect that some one has updated it in the network settings previously

If you you have an original Ryobi Display at the press console, press your finger top in the upper right corner and wait some seconds. It should switch to the windows environment.
