Numbering arm break

Hello friends. The machine is 2008 model, heidelberg sm 52-4 anicolor. In numbered works, it breaks the vertical numbering arm even at low speed. I attach it using the numerator adjustment apparatus. The problem is still the same. What could be the reason for this?

Move the "numerator adjustment apparatus" further away from the vertical arm?

On the vertical boxes as long as the flat (adjustment) bar is used to set the cam to side of the arm that should be ok, if the cam is moved further away then the ball on the numbering box arm may start to miss the cam follower path & potentially miss numbers. Looks like the op is aware on how to set the boxes.

Very unlikely but maybe the actual box is sticking. Possibly strip it down, clean & lubricate all the parts & re-assemble.
