Polar 115 EM cutting issue

    Sometimes this lever gets stuck in the middle of the 2 sensors and it interrupts the cutting. we have to pull lever and trigger the bottom sensor to continue cutting.

    Hi sir;

    Please review this steps;

    1) Please check the sensors switch(proximity swtich) , must be in 0.8mms(distance switch cylinder vs sensor switch proximity)

    2)Test if there are +24Vdc exactly in the terminal plug 44, CU9.4+CU9.5, and tigh very well the wires, or dirty sensors, or faulty.

    3) Test connection flat wire hardness IAR-AR, and exchange if necessary.

    4)Adjust the limit switch in the gear box, look for loose wires, dirty contacts, or faulty, replace, and adjust as exactly you can . Turn OFF the machine.

    Turn knife carrier down manually, until the mark 1 of the positive cam switch cam correspond with the mark 2 on the gear box, carefully thear Snap action switch!

    Hi, my experience of these arms is lack of lubrication means arm is tight. Or bracket holding solonoid has cracked causing solonoid to drop so arm doesn't pull properly. Please check

    Please do this steps;

    Dear all,
    I have a polar 115em machine. Recently, the display sometimes does not appear the length in automatic display. The value in manual display is only 0. I had to move back up to 115cm until I heard a click before I could use it. Yesterday the machine didn't work at all. the value is always 0. If i move it forward and backward several times then the manual display show 04. Is it possible that this machine can be reset to the factory default? or any suggestions what i should make?

    Could anyone please help me? Thank you

    Hi sir;

    check this;
    Normal condition of LED v3 TAM= OFF, will be Light Up for 0.5 sec, while is passing reference point.

    1)The LED V3 (TAM) does not flash.
    when backgauge travels within middle third of travel lenght.

    look a) Check connections and cable between
    length measuring system and CU-unit
    b) Exchange Card Tam, or complete Lenght Measuring System.

    2)
    The LED V3 (TAM) is flashing when
    backgauge moves within the middle
    thirs of travellength. But backgauge does not Stop.

    look a) Exchange the TAM
    b) Exchange the AR

    Dear sir,

    The led V3 on TAM did not respond at all. Either forward or backward. Can it be fix? Or i must replace it?

    If you dont mind please have a look for a moment. So you can identify is there any other parts that might also must be replace.

    First, Check the cable of the scanning head if it is secured properly and also at the backplane before blaming the LMS. Check also the continuity.

    Is the scanning head is on the bottom back of the table? The one connected with the comb? The cable connection likely old keyboard. Is that one?

    The linear measurement system is the aluminum housing with glass scale. The scanning head is the black rectangle with a cable that travels along with the backgauge. Follow this wire leading to the backplane and check if it's attach properly. If connection is okay, then check cable continuity with your meter.

    Is there any chance that i can get wiring diagram for this machine? I've been searching through google but there is none unfortunately .

    If there's anyone can help me with these please?

    to exchange the ; TAM+AR and Ribbon cables for AR
