Hello All, Is there a way to up the amount of fuser fluid onto paper? Like an NVM adjustment. Just curious. Many Thanks
That line on your fuser roll is not due to not enough fuser oil. That's an issue of your RDS for the fuser assembly being turned off
Have to go into diagnostics on psip. You can give me a call at 714-292-6912 andI can walk you through it.
Hi Milo, I'm not currently at work finished at 10pm. Is it located as a NVM ID then you have to tick the default value box in order to get it back on? Many Thanks Gavin
Hey Milo, One last question, If I'm printing on 90gsm Arrow Silk with very high tints(That Dry out the fuser roll quickly) , Would it benefit the iGen to increase the amount of fuser fluid on to the paper? Thanks in advance for your advice. Regards Gavin
Interesting....Ive had this happen. i attributed it to buildup on the heat roller, where a thermistor is. not RDS turned off. Ill check that if it happens again. edit, I also use a few problem papers... cheating their setting like calling them thicker... or coated sometimes works.
On the free flow or Creo, do you try the print output order with Ascending? Because ever since I've done this it helps with the curl and also seems to run alot better for problem papers. Also prints before it's fully processed.
Usually cleaning the entrance and exit decurler blue rolls will help with curl. If you are still having a problem with curl, there is a procedure to change a value in nvm depending on curl up or down.
