Dampening solution over flow from pan

Dear valuable members,

I have problem in my CD 74 2003 machine, dampening solution is not circulation properly, some unit level is low and some unit is water not returning properly, so getting over flow.

Any suggestions appreciated.

As the circulator system gets closer to its required maintenance, you need to make minor adjustments to the water feed into each individual water pan. Its the return lines that start getting sluggish, so you need to adjust the water feed into each pan, to not exceed the individual units ability to drain back. After a full cleaning out of the entire circulation system, I like to set up each unit to feed the maximum amount of feed that will reliably drain back. By doing this you insure that the fountain solution in the pan has the best chance of maintaining consistent temperature, and preventing the solution from stagnating. As time passes, and as the return slows down, you will little by little need to make tiny adjustments to the water feed to compensate. If you get to the point where your water feed is cut down so low there is not a visable ripple in the water tray, where the solution exits the feed tube, then its time to flush the system.

I will clean all pipe lines which solution circulating,
After cleaning , how can I adjust the water feed? Because my machine, there is not each unit water regulator.

It is pumping from dampening techno trans tank directly to the pan.

I want to know that water is returning from pan in each unit , its returning to intermediate tank , because of heights of pan between intermediate tank, or is there any suction device to suck the solution to the intermediate tank?

There are many different types of circulating systems available; some use return line pumps, some are gravity return, etc.. Without first knowing which type of system you actually have, it can be difficult to try and offer an effective solution. Please explain which type you have.

Solution is supplying to the each unit pan with techno trans pumping, returning solution to intermediate tank by gravity, Then solution is supplying to the main tank by intermediate tank pumping.

I hope and as you said, only need to clean the plastic pipe line need to clean thoroughly.
I will clean it, but after cleaning,
How to control the supply of water to the pan?
Where is the regulator for it?

Machine model is CD 74 2003 age.

Its no big deal to install a small valve into each feed line. Just be sure that any valves that you purchase are stainless steel. The etch in fountain solution will quickly eat up any brass valves. If memory serves me I believe that there is a internally threaded boss on the bottom of the pan on the gear side. Carefully remove the hose barb thats threaded into the pans boss, and replace it with a compact stainless valve, that has a thread matched to the internal thread of the pan boss. The other end of the valve should have the correctly sized hose barb.

Over flow problem is solved, as your instructions followed, pipe line was too dirty with sluggish, cleaned with compressed air and now circulation is okay
