plate issue

    The plate gets torn out of the machine after about 2K prints.

    Any idea about the causes??

    Normal. Lightly apply spray mount to the back of the plate before mounting or use the straight edge clamp if the machine has one.

    If this is a pinbar clamp you can also use a thin strip of reinforced tape at the top of plate before you punch the plate. Excessive form roller pressure and impression can add troubles too.

    Check Form Roller Pressure to Plate. Adjust upper form pressure to plate is a 1/8 inch stripe, Lower form roller pressure 1/8 inch to no more than 5/32 of an inch. Adjust plate to blanket pressure to 3/16 0f an inch. Let me know if you need a stripe gauge so I can mail you one.

    Problem solved after replacing the blancket and adjusting the cylinder pressure
