We've been getting a rash of HW1 faults where it will lock up the main console and the post console will display "HW1 fault main" and "HW1 fault post"
Cycling the power to the main console will make it go away for a short period of time. Sometimes 5 mins sometimes a couple of shifts. Does anyone have any information as to where the HW1 faults are coming from?

    Hi sir:

    1) You must take voltage measure for Plug HW1 has Letter from to A- N : A) Ground vs + G)5Vdc +H) +5vdc , please see the connector in accordance with his schematic electrical diagrams Clean very well, from dust, oil, etc

    2) If everything is o.k you must take mechanical adjustment . The infeed has no reference position and therefore also has no mechanical zero position.

    2a)
In order to set the HWI of the pulse encoder on the printing unit, the printing units must be inched to the mechanical zero position.
In this position, the gap in the upper blanket cylinder , on the first printing unit (in front of the dryer) is in horizontal position.

    3)
    1.
For a precision adjustment, turn the stop screw 11 /1 against the metal pin of the HWI until the display “000.0°" appears on the display of the CPTronic console .

    2.
Lock the stop screw with the hexagon nut

    3.
The spring should be positioned against the metal pin of the HWI in such a way that the pin is always in contact with the stop screw.

    4.
After one revolution, compare once more the setting of the pulse encoder with the mechanical zero position

    Merry Christmas
