Does anyone recognize this drive? I purchased it from the Seattle Times auction at the Bellevue, WA printing press location. I believe they were running Goss presses there. It's an Allen-Bradley Ink/dampener dc motor drive p/n: 136140. I just need the instruction manual or some guidance on the jumper settings, inputs and outputs.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi sir:

Will be difficult to fin some instruction or schematic for this Old model.

However will be a good idea, to contact you the company Allen Bradley, since they did the design, and sold this unit.

    Is my recommendation.

    Blessing

So it's old eh? Like how old would you think?

Finding info on this drive is proving very difficult indeed! My first stop in trying to find info on the drive was to contact Rockwell Automation who owns Allen Bradley. They had no info on this drive on their website. Called and spoke to them on the phone but they were unwilling to let me talk with tech support because I don't have a support contract with them. They told me to contact my local distributor and they would be able to contact tech support on my behalf. The local distributor contacted tech support for me and was only able to determine that Allen Bradley was likely contracted to make this drive for Goss or Hancho. Therefore any technical info about the drive would have to come from the respective company who had Allen Bradley build it.

That's when I started researching what kind of presses the Seattle Times used and determined it was likely a Goss press. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to contact Goss to request info on the drive. Instead I thought I'd try the forum here to see if anyone could assist.

Just sent an email to the engineering team at Manroland Goss, hopefully they can dredge up some old documents about the drive.

    I/O
    TB 2 -
+ & - = 0-10V Dc Input for Speed (When Using Drive in Auto Mode)
T1,T2,T3 = Tacho Gentrator Input from Motor

    TB1 -
L1,L2 = AC Input (120 or 240v Depends What Output Voltage you Need)
H1,H4= AC Input for Control Transformer(For 120 V Jumper H2 and H3, For 240 make it open(Please Reconfirm by Having a Look on Tracks, I did this Long time ago so don't Rember well))
A1,A2 = Armature Output to the Motor.

    Hope this will help you

Thanks for the info that is very helpful! I thought it was a 4-20ma signal so I was trying to run it that way, which seemed to work OK. I'll try using a 0-10v signal instead.

Any idea what the jumpers are used for?
