    Hello guys,
Recently, I've got a problem with CP2000 unit on SM74-4H . On this machine, after I put the machine in production, approximately after 3 hours, the CP2000 display turns OFF. Despite this problem, machine can keep running production, but any adjustment is impossible. I tried it with an external monitor and it was same.
Any helpful hints would be appreciated

Not heard of this one before ! we have had them go back to factory settings where everything is german the only thing i can think of is that the pc power unit maybe overheating and switching of there is a fan on the bottom of the cpc unit with a filter on it give that clean and see if it helps

Does only the screen go off? do you still see the ink key controls?

I had the same problem a while ago. On the console under the CP2000 screen, the entire board lifts up and under there at the very back is a battery box. It will have a lot of flashing lights with error codes listed on the side of the box. There is a reset button which you could try pressing in - otherwise it has a flat battery.

We've had similar problems on our presses, hard drives needed to be replaced.

well if the ink key controls go off, then its the whole system that shuts down, you need to look for the breaker in the main cabinet, its probably going to be Q262 or just Q62. If the ink key controls are on. lift up the cover beneath the screen where the IPC is. See if the network card leds are blinking or there might be a cooling fan, see if that is working, looks for signs of power failure to the PC, if no, then there is probably some problem with the IPC power supply that goes up to the screen.

Hi, i have encountered this problem, q62. Found the breaker, turned it up but it jumps again. Do you have any solution for this problem?

Look at the wiring diagram, may be it will show a filter parallel in between the 220 and neutral at the 15X connection strip, may that is shorted out or the IPC PSU is busted.
