    Hello.
We started printing on a new machine in Huv technology and we have a big problem with the deposition ink on the W roller . What advice do you recommend the best water additive in HUV technology?
Ink paint which we tried it Toyo and Huber Group and is this same problem.
We tried water addative: Prisco Questar and Eigen.
    Thank you for your answers.

We ushually recommend Prisco. and Toyo ink. I think the problem something else. confirm the pressure of the rollers. also what about the water condition. Normally for HUV the water should be treated with RO and after that water conditioner need to be added then to the cooling unit for fountain additive.

You have a problem that is very common on Komori presses. Solution to it? No need to ask Komori, because it has never happened on any Komori.

Unfortunately it is problem I have seen on conventional, Standard UV & HUV Komori's, it more pronounced on HUV having to clean the forum rollers every stack, it does affect each colour at different times and comes and goes for no apparent reason, using antifoam or anything else in the fount solution seams to make it worse and also affects drying.
As a trial the only way I have seen it combated is to add Alcohol but that destroys the fount solution and causes whole host of other problems.

I’ve also seen and worked on many Komori presses with no problems running huv, conventional, uv, if it doesn’t work it’s usually down to a local problem, logistically or skills

I would recommend contacting Sun Chemical and asking about the Joules Angstrom line of HUV ink specifically designed for a Komori press.

I recommend a product from Applied Chemisties. HUV/LED 109 fountain concentrate We had the problem stated and this eliminated the issue. We run conventional inks. # is 1-877-847-6236 www.appliedchemistries.com

El Heffee is correct ! HUV/LED and HUV/LED 109 (specifically designed for those running Huber inks) are superb founts. Run at 3.5 oz per gallon.
Clean the dampening system, clean the rollers with Calcium Slayer & Flush, use the appropriate fount above and you will see many problems alleviated.

I looked into HUV when it was first introduced, working with various companies across the world, encompassing Demonstrators & experts, this was the common fault, I tested various inks, fount solutions & roller combinations.
