    Yes, I have solved this.
You can download software, that is needed to upload to GOT: https://mega.nz/#!2CJTyITD!R6tv5-ylWnXNLC555hPgtHRVqvHbmLXcu32Ieg3kvtY
Data transfer tool for uploading is here: https://mega.nz/#!jWhiAC4b!x8raCFa3q1hkvnoScxWH8npP9m3LZYFzHi40u0jLQ9w

1.) Download software and install data transfer tool
2.) Connect to GOT (must be GOT1000) by MiniUSB cable
3.) Touch in top left and top right corner to enter service menu
    4.) Select upload firmware
5.) Use data transfer tool to upload firmware.
6.) Restart GOT and check if works

Hi All, I'm currently suffering with the same issue, I have the data transfer tool and have the cable to complete the data transfer but have the F940GOT so need a .f1 file, the one uploaded is a .g1. Does anybody have a .f1 or have the ability to create a .f1 file please?!

Thanks for this, the files attached are .g1 when using data upload I have to use GOT-F900 series as this is the monitor. I then have to upload a F900GOT Binary File (*.F1)

Ive tryed this F1 file but its not possible to load into transfer software. It says that file is corrupted or not regular F1 file.
Ive contact Duplo tehnicians and they said that only possible to program touch scree is via EEPROM and specialized transfer board. You connect eprom on the board and connect it together on touchscreen.

yes, thats correct... Maybe you will be lucky and you will disassemble the GOT from Duplo and send it to some local service, I was lucky with one here in CZ.
If you are good at electronics, you can try to dig deeper in datasheets, that can be found for your specific GOT model, there are chapters describing how to program EEPROM, but it can be risky...

There is a backup battery in this unit that will go dead in several years. This needs to be replaced before updating the software.

Once the battery is replaced there are a few simple steps to get the diplay up and running again. It shouldn't require the *.f1 file to be uploaded. email me for more info if you would like the method.

Hi. How can I message you? I have the same issue: GOT with no sofware. Someone cleared user data by accident. Duplo system collator 2000. Any help will be much apreciated. Nearest service center is 1,000 miles away. Will take several days for the unit to be sent, sofware uploaded and back. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

GOT 940 for the 4000 unit and GOT 1000 for the 5000 unit. The screen shot i have sent worked ok for the GOT 940 . Good luck
