Need to run Nekoosa Synaps 5ml. tear proof 13x19 Able to run 1 side (sometimes) need it to be 2 sides.
Any suggestions to help stop the jams. Will not get past the Transfer unit. Already tried switching to straightest path draw, lowering fuser temp, slowing down machine and speeding up..humidity around machine is 23%.

Is it static related? Or is the sheet curling from heat?

i think static, tough to tell if its a curl, only cause by the time i get it out of the machine its a bit crunched and melted, BUT i did just find out that the paper company has 2 different kinds, one for digital, which apparently is not what i received. but I thank you for getting back to me, im going to wait for the correct stock to come and see how that goes.

I've been down this very same road with one of the older Canon ImagePRESS'. Digital synthetic was in its infancy at best then. Low fusing temperature is always preferred. My issue with Canon was the natural charge of the Vinyl would repel toner. I has to increase the transfer voltage to get a decent print, it always fused almost regardless of how low the temp was. Static in the output tray was mind-blowingly strong. sheets had to be separated one by one and let sit overnight.

NexPRESS was static crazy within the paper path. We used an anti static spray, which was problematic within itself. Greasy, and tough to clean afterwards, contaminated blanket cylinders and drums.

The newer Canon's run synthetic remarkably well, will little to no issue.
