Anything you can add in the fountain solution to cut down on the algae growth in the technotrans on the SM 52 6 color offset press ?

You can start by draining the entire solution. Then fill with water
    Concentrated cleaner.

At one time Flint had us add "brush flush" to the fountain solution to help mitigate algae growth. It worked okay, since then we have switched fountain solution manufacturers and the problem was mitigated in that way. If you can't change fountain solution to one with a better fungicide then adding some brush flush might work for you

If left to get overgrown for too long its sometimes required to blow out all the lines. After blowing out the lines you could use a commercially available flushing concentrate as per directions. The product Royal Flush comes to mind. Once you've done a thorough flush of the entire system its recommended that you maintain its cleanliness with weekly draining of the tanks. Most fountain solutions contain an algacide additive, but if yours does not then they have additives available.
