Change anilox SM74 year 2005

    How can we change this anilox roller.

    not sure about a Speedmaster 74 but I know that on a 102 there is a Heidelberg tool that comes with the press, that consist of 2 metal hooks, with handles attached. After opening up the pillow block, you get a person on each side with hook and CAREFULLY pull the anilox roller out of the block. Look around in the presses tool box and hope that you have the hooks. If not you could probably improvise with some strong nylon rope.

    I have tool 2 metal hooks and manual guide catalogue in touch screen. But i can't do it.
    Before i know speedmaster 75 very easy for change, but 74 not same.

    I would think that the process for removal should be clearly laid out in the presses operators manual. If you do not have such a manual I would strongly suggest that you get one.

    dismantle both sides carefully everything is in your way......take out old anilox.....place in new anilox....assemble everything back in original position...check nip width...enjoy printing...
