Ryobi 524 water units

Installed new water form and metering rollers in all 4 units. Units 1,2 works awesome. Units 3,4 not so well. The chrome roller want to ink up as well as the metering roller in 3,4. Had the same issue before we put the new roller in. Set all the stripes by the book and rechecked them. All look good. Anyone have any thought?

 

Clean the chrome with chrome roller cleaner or a soloution of gum Arabic and fountain soloution and pumice powder you should apply plenty of soloution to dessensitize the chrome

 

Be sure that the water level in the tray on the 3rd and 4th unit is the same as the water level in the units that are working well. Not really sure but are there clutches in the drive of the water rollers or are they driven positively by gears?
