    Greetings,
I am puzzled i have worked on alot of larger cutters in the past but this little cutter has me stumped.

I am having trouble with the paper stock drawing after we make the cut. We have changed the knife to a new blade, There is no way of adjusting the clamp pressure visibly. We have replaced the brake on the clamp motor. Gear was slipping ever so slightly, but didn't fix the issue. If anyone knows what could be the problem, or if you have a solution please let us know as we are having to take our cutting to our secondary location that has a full size cutter.

    Hi sir:
    Please do this:
    1) The knife and the clamp starts at the same moment. From the construction of the drive gear
on the knife motor the knife moves first a little bit upwards before it moves downwards. This
gives some lead to the clamp motor. For correct adjustment, please check the following
    parts:
The small gear of the knife drive should be in the last tooth of the big gear, when the knife
stops on its top position. If not, please adjust the lever of the micro switch S5.
When the knife reaches its bottom position, it should also stop between the second and the
last tooth of the big gear. If not, please adjust the lever of the switch S6.
Make sure, that the disc brakes of the motors open completely. When the brake opens not
complete, the disc brake is still closed a little by tension of the springs and therefrom the
    motor runs slower.
Check, if clamp is well lubricated and moves easily.

    2) Adjust the knife carrier very well.

    3) See if the Knife carrier is parallel to the table.

    4) See if the backagauge is completely square ?

    5) Look for the level of table ?

    Hi:

    1) Check the cutting stick, when you put a new blade, must be replace the Old cutting stick.

    2) Blade Not parallel to the table.

    3) the knob for blade depth adjustment.

    4) Brake must be open enough, if you change the brake, but the GAP is not enough you will have the always the problem, test this.

    5) Clam must be paralle to the table, as i indicated, and very well lubricated and clean the guides.

    6) Finally do the test indicate before

ANSWER:Fixed. Thanks for all the feed back. None of these were the solution. The fix was the Worm Gear on the Clamp assembly had a broken Ball Bearing inside the gear that needed to be replaced. So before spending alot of Money on Brakes for the motor or Pulley Belt. I would check that out it takes alittle bit to get out the Gear and shaft but thats what fixed us up.
