    Hi everyone!

We are doing adhesive binding with Eurobind 4000, unfortunately the pages are not held effectively in place in the spine. We have recently changed all milling knives to new ones, but that did not help. I suspect that we are using wrong setting for the milling tools.

Where can I find some general guidelines for adhesive binding with PUR, Planamelt and Hotmelt? What I am looking for are optimal notching/fine notching/leveling depths for given content paper (paper type, gsm, block thickness etc.)

The only thing I could find was a two page publication by Heidelberg, it's a good start, but I really need a more comprehensive guide.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
