Hey! I am thinking about purchasing a Konica Minolta Accurio C6100 digital press for my shop that will soon run 24hrs 7days for 3 months. I need to get some feedback for this press to see if everything this sales guy is saying true. It’s seems to me that it’s has no issues what’s so ever, it just runs perfect. If it’s anybody shop out there runs 7 days 24hrs a day please give me the good and bad for this press.

if you have to do 11 milion color prints just one accurio won't help you you...the machine can make 1 - 1.5 milion in one mounth ....
if is black and white you can make it on bizhub 1200 or 1250 the machine can provide you 11 milion in 3 mouths but if they are color prints you need at list 2-3 accurio c6100

If you're printing for profit over there, it sounds like its time for something a bit higher end. IGEN, NexPRESS, Digital Inkjet is being adopted more, and more frequently these days.
But like the other posters say, how much of that is black and white? If a considerable amount is black, your solution lies in getting a dedicated black and white machine. No offense to KM but their black and white machines have some highly padded duty cycles. They claim multiple millions, but you'd have to do some 4 drum replacements, 2 fuser rebuilds, countless charge station maintenance, to get there.

I know quite a few accounts with Oce/Canon Vario equipment. All one has to do is clean the spiral cleaner, and your imaging cylinder is good for 8 million impressions. Plus the machine runs at 67kW's compared to the average 460+Kw. Produces zero omissions, and no waste toner. The amount you'll save on power consumption alone would be staggering.
And the technology is near jam free to boot.

Not to mention the Oce Titan series if you really need some serious black and white output. Or a small fleet of Various or Xerox Nuveras. I'm not a huge Xerox fan, but their Nuvera is a formidable workhorse. I think it's their best machine ;)

Assuming you're running 12x18, this volume is a mathematic impossibility on a single 100ppm because 12x18 runs at about half speed per sheet. The C6100 is a great machine, but at that volume, I'd recommend getting 4 of them. Also, make sure you get the IQ-501 to automatically monitor the color consistency and registration. Others mention getting a Xerox iGen or other bigger machine...even with those, you'll need multiple units for redundancy.

The IQ's are a bit flawed in the way they measure in-line color. They work well for in-line calibration, as that uses a proper spectrophotometer, but for whatever reason is switches to an inferior device for in-line density. The Canon C10000 series has one of the best (maybe the best) inline density and calibration systems. and it come standard to boot. Reading 8 patches on the ITB as opposed to other manufactures 3 patches. Ricoh 9210 reads quite a few patches as well, but it has to stop the machine while doing so.

The kodak Nexpress is a phenomenal color machine, and with the operator handling 90% of the maintenance, you won't have to wait around for a technician to make basic repairs. I ran two of these in tandem, and had next to zero downtime.

The Igen is the most productive machine on the market, with the finest duplex registration - rated as "next to perfect" - however i have never been impressed by the output. It's fair, but nothing to write home about.

You can consider a large production press, and perhaps two supplementary mid-line devices. Having a single print device is dangerous. Get ready to spend a fair amount of time color profiling ;)

Though, we are talking about black and white, yes? I don't know how we drifted into color.
Look into Oce's Titan. There's nothing else quite like it.
