How to print on Pool Table Cloth/Felt?

Hi,

My first post - hello everybody...

I would like to be able to offer a printing service for pool table cloth, I already supply cloth and I get asked for this a lot.

The cloth is made from 80% wool and 20% nylon.

Google is not being my friend on this, all I can find is one video on Youtube:



Does anybody know what type of printer is being used in the video, or of another type of printer that could handle the job?

I've no idea what the printer in the video is, but for textiles I think dye sublimation printers are commonly used. I know Roland and Mimaki offer these types, I have no first hand experience with them though.

 

I would think silk screen printing would be the desired process

 

Do you know about rotary screen printing machine? How is mesh made?
