Can I get some pointers On getting my Ryobi 3302 to feed 24lb. paper? Once on the feed board everything is good, it's the pick-up I'm fighting. Anything 80lb. and over card stock runs great. It's the light stuff that baffles me!

Are you using the rubber sucker feet or running the suction tubes without them? Pile height should be between the lowest and 2nd to lowest lines on the sheet seperator brackets. Sheet seperator (little brass tabs) ends should be pointed down just a tad towards the paper. Those can be half the problem. With those all set if you run sucker feet set the blower so it fluffs the sheets nicely then about 1 full turn on for suction and that should get you there. If you don't run sucker feet they say to turn the suction full on then the blower to fluff sheets until it feeds. You can also stagger every other suction tube on/off. If your feeding card paper should be a snap.

this is how i run light stock. if the sheet size is 8.5x11, there should be 6 suction tubes in the width of the sheet. i run all 6 suction tubes open but put sucker feet on the 2 most out side tubes and the two most inside tubes. bring pile up to just over the first line on the sheet seperator brackets. start to add air till it puffs up the sheet nicely, then start to add suction till it picks up the sheet then go about 1/2 turn more.

is it the problem with picking up paper or feeding into the press? I usually have to adjust the buckle up to about 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 turns to keep it registering well with the lighter stock.
I always leave all my rubber suckers on the press but with light paper I will close off the second tube on either side

I run BigFoot suckers on my 3302, and it's the best thing I ever changed on that press. I can feed 110lb index and switch to 20lb bond in a few seconds. They eleminate all feed issues associated with the stock feeders. You don't have to replace all the feeder tubes, I only have 4 across.

Yeah! Bigfoot has saved me a lot of frustration!! Great for envelopes and uneven stock too. Best of luck.

Hello (new member here), I see this is a somewhat old post but maybe this video can help. I have a youtube channel for things like this. Also have a video for envelop feeding on a 3302. Have a great day!
