Hi I’ve just joined the forum, I have a Komori 528 and somehow it’s took about 15 sheets of 250 gsm into the first unit and is jammed solid
The crank handle won’t move it and is just slipping on the shaft (fly wheel moving slightly but shaft not)
I have soaked the fast paper with water at both sides but still no joy
    Any suggestions please
Short of getting an engineer to drop the cylinder which I’m told is a costly job

I would back off the pressure between the cylinders and see if that helps?

Have to ask, how did you manage to let 15 sheets go through? Do you not have a double sheet mechanism?

Have you solved this problem, yet? I ran a similar press for many years and actually had this same thing happen to me. I have a suggestion for you if you still haven't gotten the sheets out.

Just for future reference, if you have this situation again don’t soak with water as it makes the paper swell and makes it even harder to get out.

if the gap between cylinders can be accessed without coming in contact with the impression cylinder, and your willing to sacrifice a blanket you can very carefully use a Sawzall
