I've got an Epson Stylus 3880 printer and it's stopped printing! The control panel on the printer gives:

"Replace ink cartridge" (It's the T5801 Photo Black)

    What I've done so far:

    1. Tried switching the printer off and on again.
    2. Replaced the empty cartridge with a new one (I only use genuine Epson ink in my printer).
    3. Checked the cable connecting my PC to the printer to see if the plugs had pulled out. They were OK.
    4. Released and pushed back in, all the cartridges.
    5. Reloaded the driver from the Epson website.
When I try to print the dialogue on my PC screen won't show any of the ink levels and I get "Communication Error" at the top. My PC has the Windows 10 operating system and all of the latest updates loaded.

Any thoughts or solutions would be received, gratefully!
