Hello I have been looking at trying Taniguchi Ink, their Oxidizing inks to print on foil metalized paper. Does anyone know anything about their inks. Would like to hear some feedback about their ink. And if anybody has experience in Oxi inks

    Thanks Glenn

Not familiar with the Taniguchi inks, but have a bit of experience with using various oxibind inks. Used for printing on non porous surfaces such as foils, plastics, etc. Not sure if you've got any experience with printing on these types of substrates, but I will say this... leave it to printers with UV presses. If you insist on jumping into the deep end, and doing this stuff on conventional offset presses, then be prepared for a steep and expensive learning curve!!!

I agree with turbotom UV is by far the best for this. That being said I have customers that are very skilled at printing on these type of stock. We make an ink called OXDZ for this, dries great. Need small lifts and good spray unit.

Thanks for your input . We have been printing on theses substrates for quite A few years now but seem to be experiencing troubles with drying and or ink stripping off the rollers .I do know that UV is the way to go on this stock but we don't have that capabillity as yet .
