What's the diagnostic routine? I replaced the potentiometer. That worked but now have a new problem. Can get the backgage calibrated. It's about 2 inches off. Can't find a way to calibrate or reset. The thread that says to hold cm and #9 doesn't fix it.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, this is not working either. When i power on holding the cm/inch switch, the screen shows 8888888888 and NOT Test.

By the way, this is TRIUMPH 4850-95 ep. I feel like when I changed to potentiometer, it had instructions to calibrate, I can't find those instructions anymore, anywhere. Somewhere, someone knows the simple code to fix this. I was having trouble with my screen going dim and flashing off when I jogged paper on the cutter bed, i press multiple buttons on the keybad and then realized the safety switch on the bottom was set off. I reset it and when the cutter powered back up, the measurements were off so I know it has something to do with the key pad.

Thank you sir, The key pad checks out, I don't see a way to change the calibration from what you posted. The key pad is about 2 inches off what the actual size is. Normally, when the backgage is all the way back it would read 17.72. Now it reads 20.45, My cutter cant go to 20 inches. There has to be a way to change what the keypad reads vs what the actual cut is.

    Hi
I must remember you that post and definition is NOT mine, is coming from factory.
If you have difference , you must be replace the keypad, since inside is coming EPROM( software) can be corrupted.
All the rest of the machine is Electrical components, contactor, limit switch, etc. However you must tight very well any connection and clean it, included from keypad: 1 more thing that you can do it, if you are looking from dry or cold solder joint: Reheating and test again, see if the flat cable is ok or dirty, clean it very well and tight very well.

anyone else? If you've replaced the potentiometer, you would have gotten these same instructions and maybe can help me. All i remember is make a cut at 3 inches.
