Newbie questions

Hi all,

We are planning to buy smaller size UV printer to print on prototype and small patch enclosures (electronic equipment front panels etc).

Otherwise UV printing seems good solution for us since traditional silk screen printing is so complicated (when doing only one or couple prints).

But what about durability of finish? Are UV printed front panels as durable as silk screen printed? Those equipments we are making are not used outside but still texts have to last for many years or decades.

UV printing is more convenience compared with silk screen printing, which can print any texts, logos, images directly on items with full color printing. Minimum substrate preparation, no need of any printing plates. You can print a very sharp small font on any materials by our printers.
Regarding of the durability, we provide special coating which makes the printed result damp-proof and scratch proof.

I would assume that OP has researched the conveninces of UV printing already and about material handling / preparation as well. There is, likely, no need to state the obvious...
