I use this printer for print business cards on 11x17" paper loaded on "special tray (5)", i have problems when i try to print business cards for both sides, the print not match, i print the front of business cards first and then load again the paper on the same tray and print the back of business cards but the print not match for about 2mm, i already verify that both images are centered to the page, disable the "margins" on printer driver and still have the same problem, the image looks like 2mm moved ( images not match ). Also i already make another test drawing an small cross at the center of the page, print in both sides and still the same error ( the print not match ). I use corel draw to print directly to the printer, also i already try to export the page to PDF and print from acrobat and still the same problem. I donĀ“t know how more else to look

The paper may be stretching/distorting slightly from the first pass.
On our docucolor 242, registration is better from the OHCF than from the bypass tray or the drawers. Even with the oversize high capacity feeder, I sometimes have to manually adjust first the first side and then the second side. With our fiery+DC242, I can either go to the printer, login as admin, and adjust coated 3 x-dimension (or whatever stock you're running) for the second side, then run the second sides. Or I can specify an offset in the fiery driver if I'm printing from pdf. Or in corel, sometimes it's faster just to manually nudge it over by .01" or a couple .01" nudges until it's perfect, then let the run print. After getting it on through trial and error with a few one print tests, mine is fairly good at holding registration during the run.

    Hi
When flipping the printed sheet over and loading into tray 5 flip length ways not short edge ways. In your artwork print it upside down to suit the new way of flipping. You should never use the same edge twice when printing, as this is also the way the machine duplexs as well.

It's not terribly uncommon for the duplex registration to be off a bit, especially when manually duplexing.
If you're using a Fiery/Command Workstation, under the finishing tab there's an "image shift" option, just nudge the image until they line up.
Or, if you're imposing in InDesign you can nudge the image from here as well.
