    Hello Everyone,

I’m new to the Forum but not to digital printing. Currently I’m doing a market study on Digital Textile Printing using Pigment Inks and would like your input on two primary Topics:

Topic One. Which ink and printer have you used (see partial list below)? What were the Top Plus and Top Minus for you and your customers?

Topic Two. For those of you with concerns about adopting pigmented digital textile inks, what is holding you back?

If you post an Answer in this thread please note that I might send you a private message asking to briefly follow up with you (5-10 minutes) and potentially submit a short-run print job to your shop (depends on what systems you have now.) I will be very mindful to respect your time.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

    Sincerely,

    John Gardner

Hi, it seems to be an interesting topic.

We are the digital textile printer manufacturer since 2001, and our printers adopt textile inks with color CMYKW. Our customers mostly printing personalised t-shirt, bag, shoes, caps, hoodies, jeans; and some of them own printshop or souvenir and gift shops in their countrys mostly EU and USA; few of them own factories in certain industry like branded garment factorys. We have more than 10 models, with economy model that print one t-shirt at a time; small high end model that print 2 t-shirts at a time; and industrial a0 model that can print 6 t-shirts at a time.

The print process will only take 2-3 minutes for each t-shirt, and the printing cost is only USD0.1.

As for the printhead, the nozzles can only adopt the certain textile inks, otherwise it is easy blocked.

Hope these information might some how helps with your study. Wish you all the best!
