    Hi all,

We have a 4 colour XL75 put in from new in 2010. We're starting to lose ink zone motors, we have a couple of spares and I spoke to the Heidelberg engineer when he was down who talked me through the procedure of changing them (which obviously he shouldn't have done). I remember along the lines of setting ducts closed on the CPC, plugging the motor in without it being attached to the duct, allowing it to zero then fitting it or something like that, can anyone confirm the correct procedure please?

    Cheers

Hello, for change the motor ink zones the correct procedure is: switch off the machine, remove old motor and insert new motor in mechanical parts. After this switch on machine, the computer make test and motor work OK.For change mechanical parts have procedure.

The procedure is to turn off the machine and replace the motor with the new part and make the electrical connection (connector plug) without preventing it with mechanical mechanism.
Set a value for all inking areas. Set mechanically to compare with other then put the engine in its location. So we guarantee electrical synchronization = mechanical
