Hp posts a lot about how fast the indigo is on one sided work. They don't have any 2 sides specs though.

In epm the machine runs 160 8.5x11s / 80 press sheets per minute. Is it safe to assume that means it runs 40 sheets per minute 2 sided?

Yes they are a bit vague on actual speed. This is most likely 2 up 8.5 x 11 speed they spec. We run 3/3 EMP about 20 sheets per minute. 4/4 is about 16 sheets per minute 12x18 sheet size. That's normal run speed not on heavy sub mode. HP lists multiple up run speeds to make the press seem faster then it really is. You also have to add print cleaners which deduct a few impressions off the speed.

Duplex Printing can't be done on regular speed ratios even it is supported media running. Normally 32-36 sheets can be attained, but more than 24 is not recommended if you are looking for quality output.

Hi depends on what press you're after but in the knowledge zone on print os they have the user manuals they do state in there the speeds, link below is for the 7900 indigo if you can get the link to open you may have to sign in.

    They say 4/4 A4 is 3600 p/h so 60 p/m ...
